Callum Vinson's Role in Netflix's 'The Night Agent' Precedes Horror Debut
Months before stepping into the role of a young Jason Voorhees in 'Crystal Lake,' Callum Vinson made his mark in Netflix's 'The Night Agent.' In the third season of this gripping thriller led by Gabriel Basso, Vinson plays the character known as the Son, who is the perceptive adopted child of the Father, portrayed by Stephen Moyer. Under the alias Henry, the Son's backstory is dark; he was kidnapped by the Father after witnessing the murder of his parents, who were killed by the villainous assassin.
Despite the grim circumstances surrounding his character, the Son develops a profound bond with the Father, who only begins to change his ways when the Son's life is threatened. In a series filled with brutality, Vinson's portrayal of the Son brings a touch of humanity and emotional depth that resonates with viewers.
As for the future of Vinson's character, it remains uncertain whether he will return for the upcoming fourth season of 'The Night Agent,' which is expected to be the series' final installment. Given the Father's decision to abandon his life as a killer, the likelihood of the Son's return seems slim. However, Vinson's impactful performance in Season 3 has left a lasting impression on audiences, many of whom have praised his natural acting ability.

In light of this, Ryan, a fellow actor, took to social media to commend Vinson's talent, stating that he is one of the most gifted child actors he has encountered in Hollywood. Ryan noted that Vinson's significant role in Season 3 undoubtedly contributed to his casting in the upcoming 'Crystal Lake' project.
Despite some production delays due to an injury sustained by Ryan Hurst, who played a lead role in 'God of War,' Vinson's prospects as an actor appear bright. His upcoming role in the 'Friday the 13th' prequel marks a return to the horror genre, following his previous performance as Henry Collins in the 'Chucky' series on Syfy and USA Network. With Vinson's growing presence in the industry, audiences can expect to see more of him on their screens in the near future.
