Marvel Reveals Logo for Upcoming Spy Thriller Series 'Zodiac'
Marvel Television has unveiled the first logo for its upcoming live-action spy thriller series 'Zodiac', which is slated for release in 2028. The announcement was made by Marvel Television chief Brad Winderbaum during a panel at the New York Comic Con. Filming for the series is expected to begin in London in the spring, with casting set to commence in the coming weeks.
'Zodiac' marks the first new live-action show announced by Marvel since last year's 'Ironheart'. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has seen significant success on the big screen, particularly with 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', which broke box office records. However, the television segment has faced challenges, including the cancellation of 'Wonder Man' shortly after its premiere, despite having been renewed for a second season and receiving an Emmy nomination for lead actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
Additionally, Marvel's 'Daredevil: Born Again' is set to conclude with its third season, which is scheduled to premiere next year. This series will see the return of Charlie Cox as the iconic hero, along with several fan-favorite characters, including Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones as Iron Fist.
Approved for Dissemination
The upcoming series 'Zodiac' is generating excitement among fans, especially as it represents a new direction for Marvel's television offerings. With a focus on espionage and intrigue, it is anticipated to attract a diverse audience eager for fresh content from the MCU.
As Marvel continues to expand its universe, 'Zodiac' is poised to be a significant addition, showcasing the studio's commitment to exploring new narratives and characters within its established framework.
