New Teaser for '100 Days of Deception' Highlights Spy Romance
tvN has unveiled a suspenseful new teaser for its upcoming drama '100 Days of Deception.' Directed by Yoo In Shik, known for his work on 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' and the 'Dr. Romantic' series, this period spy romance is set during the Japanese occupation of Korea and spans 100 days.
The story centers on Lee Ga Kyeong, portrayed by Kim You Jung, who is the top pickpocket in Gyeongseong, now known as Seoul. She becomes an undercover spy for the independence movement, infiltrating the Japanese Government-General of Korea. In her mission, she encounters interpreter Kim Tae Woong, played by GOT7’s Park Jinyoung, who is also known as Sato Hideo and is the adopted son of a high-ranking official in the Japanese administration.
The teaser presents a series of encounters between Kim Tae Woong and Lee Ga Kyeong, each time with her adopting a different disguise. As their paths cross, Kim Tae Woong grows suspicious of her, noting her various roles as a pickpocket, a live-in maid, and now an interpreter trainee. His adopted father, Sato Shinichi, expresses concern over the new interpreter trainee and advises his son to gain her trust.
Deception and Unexpected Connections Unfold
Meanwhile, Yoo So Ran, an independence fighter portrayed by Kim Hyun Joo, instructs Lee Ga Kyeong to win over Sato Hideo's heart to further the cause. As the two characters engage in a dangerous game of deception, they begin to experience unexpected emotions towards one another. Kim Tae Woong confronts Lee Ga Kyeong, questioning her motives and the reasons behind her repeated attempts to connect with him.

In a bold moment, Lee Ga Kyeong confesses her feelings to Kim Tae Woong, stating, 'I like you. I’ve liked you since the moment we first met.' However, the teaser concludes with a revealing shot of her crossing her fingers behind her back, indicating that her confession may not be genuine and is part of her ulterior motives.
'100 Days of Deception' is set to premiere on October 10 at 9:10 p.m. KST, promising a blend of romance and espionage that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
