TurboVets Appoints Medal of Honor Recipient Britt Slabinski as President

TurboVets, Inc., an innovative platform focused on automating veterans’ benefits management, has named retired Command Master Chief Britt Slabinski, a Medal of Honor recipient, as its new President. Slabinski will spearhead the company’s operational strategy and strengthen partnerships with veteran organizations and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). His leadership comes at a crucial time as TurboVets aims to enhance its technology-driven approach to veterans' benefits, striving to surpass the current VA.gov system.

Britt Slabinski is a highly decorated veteran, recognized for his valor during the Battle of Takur Ghar in 2002, where he led SEAL Team Six through a grueling fourteen-hour firefight. His military career spanned over 25 years, including numerous combat deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Slabinski retired in 2014, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role at TurboVets.

Joseph Loomis, Founder and CEO of TurboVets, emphasized the urgent need for reform in the veterans' benefits system, stating that the existing framework has failed veterans for generations. He highlighted Slabinski’s unique qualifications and commitment to the mission, noting that TurboVets aims to eliminate bureaucratic obstacles that hinder veterans from accessing their earned benefits.

In his new position, Slabinski will focus on TurboVets’ growth strategy, foster relationships with veteran service organizations, and engage with government stakeholders. He expressed his dedication to transforming the veterans' benefits landscape, asserting that veterans should not have to fight a second battle to receive the benefits they deserve.

TurboVets is designed to streamline the benefits process, providing veterans with direct access to their claims without the interference of costly intermediaries. The platform is currently in beta testing, with plans for a nationwide launch in Q3 2026, aiming to unify the veterans' benefits system across the country. The team behind TurboVets has a proven track record in developing critical technology for government and private sectors, positioning them to tackle the challenges faced by veterans today.
