Clinton Urges Officials to Withhold Information from Acting DNI Pulte
Hillary Clinton recently urged Deep State officials to refuse to share information with Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Bill Pulte, whom she characterized as inexperienced and a potential threat. Speaking on the "Democracy Docket" podcast hosted by Marc Elias, Clinton expressed her concerns following President Trump’s appointment of Pulte after Tulsi Gabbard's resignation. She described Pulte as a "loose cannon" and highlighted the extensive access the DNI has to sensitive information. Clinton stated, "I hope there are career and even political appointees in various agencies that are slow-walking or refusing to share information with Pulte."
This statement comes in the wake of Pulte's recent actions, which included the dismissal of over 50 intelligence officials, a move described by sources as the start of a significant shake-up within the intelligence community. Reports indicate that Pulte has already fired six political intelligence staffers and reassigned 45 others to their original agencies. Pulte, who has emphasized his commitment to national security, recently praised the team at the National Counterterrorism Center, stating, "The room was filled with true professionals and American patriots. It is a privilege to work beside them."
Clinton's remarks reflect ongoing tensions within the intelligence community, particularly regarding the leadership changes initiated by the Trump administration. As Pulte continues to implement his agenda, the implications of Clinton's call for resistance among intelligence officials remain to be seen.
